Kalmar offers a wide range of products and technologies that are designed for use in terminals, ports, and other similar areas. The company, which is a subsidiary of Cargotec, is responsible for the Kalmar Ottawa (formerly Ottawa Trucks NA) brand of terminal tractors, which, as of 2015, had built over 60,000 units. Ottawa Trucks was founded in 1958 in Kansas and didn’t officially become Kalmar Ottawa until years later.

The most common types of Kalmar trucks for sale on this site fall under the Ottawa umbrella. These are 4x2 and 6x4 terminal tractors designed both for off-road work as well as work on paved surfaces. Different models have different maximum operating capacities well as maximum speeds, which makes some of them better suited for shorter range work than others.

In addition to Ottawa trucks, you’ll also find Kalmar YT30 trucks on Truck Paper. These trucks are designed to be used as off-highway yard spotters and most of them come equipped with Cummins engines, 5,443-kilogram front axle and 10,433-kilogram rear axle weights, and 2.9-metre wheelbases, but you will see some variation depending on the model year.
