Some buses are designed strictly for getting passengers from point A to point B as quickly as possible; such vehicles tend to prioritise capacity and safety over comfort, as passengers are generally only onboard for a matter of minutes. Coaches, on the other hand, are designed for longer trips, which means they need to provide a higher level of passenger comfort and must have adequate space for luggage, as well as other amenities you may not find in a city bus.

First and foremost, coaches have more comfortable, reclining seats with armrests and sometimes even have foldout tray tables like those found on commercial airliners. Depending on the size of the coach and the length of the journey, you may find other similarities to airline travel, such as overhead storage for personal belongings, onboard restrooms, and video screens built into the rear of each headrest for entertainment.

You’ll find a number of used coaches for sale on Truck Paper, including models from Volvo, Iveco, Scania, and others.
