The company was the first mini excavator manufacturer to fit an immobiliser as standard and has now increased manufacturing capacity by adding production plants in Germany and China to those in its native Japan.
OverviewIn addition to mini excavators Kubota also manufacturers a two skid steer loader modesl rated at 1.0 and 1.3 tonnes (35% tipping load), compact wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and utility vehicles.
The company also manufactures small engines (3.2 to 74kW) in even higher quantities as these are not only used in its own equipment but also sold to third party machinery builders. However, not all of the products are marked in all every country Kubota has representation. For the agricultural market Kubota makes small, mid-sized, large and even tracked tractors, combine harvesters, rice transplanters, utility vehicles and mowers.
