Mitsubishi Fuso’s roots go all the way back to 1932 when the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Company designed its B46 bus, which was referred to as the Fuso. The company then went through a series of restructures and brand evolutions before finally hitting on the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) in 2003. Daimler AG currently has 89.29% ownership of the company.
