    At the heaver end of its ranges Yanmar builds tracked dumper complete with a cab and capable of moving a 3.5 tonne payload while its excavator range extends to machines with operating weight of up to 10 tonne.

    The company also has a range of zero tailswing machines (and lays claim to inventing the concept) between 1.2 and 5.4 tonnes. Yanmar machines have a very good reputation which tends to be reflected in the prices of both new and used machines. 

    Overview

    In Europe the company has enjoyed a 20 year relationship and distribution agreement with Ammann leading to many machines carrying dual Ammann and Yanmar branding. Other products in the Yanmar construction equipment portfolio include skid steer loaders (max payload 1.5 and 1.8 tonnes) and a range of lighting equipment.

    In addition to a traditional lighting tower with 4 x 400W halide lamps, Yanmar markets a tower featuring a light balloon (encapsulating a 1,000W lamp) that can be deployed to warn motorists of road works ahead. The balloon system can also be specified as free-standing and as an attachment for road building machinery such as pavers.
