Crane Fruehauf can trace its history back to 1865, when a blacksmith, William Crane, founded W Crane Wagon Works. It manufactured trailers according to the American company Fruehauf’s designs in the 1960s and then merged to become Crane Fruehauf. Today the firm continues under the Fruehauf brand.
