For the second time in a row and the third time in five years, the DAF XF has been named Fleet Truck of the Year by the Motor Transport Awards. The company has won this award 19 times since 1986. The jury that decides the award consists of “influential fleet operators,” according to DAF, who voted for the XF based on “its excellent value for the money, best back-up, and good drive appeal” as well as its fuel efficiency, reduced maintenance costs, and comfortable cab.
