Renault Trucks, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group, introduced the T Range in 2013 to replace the Magnum and Premium long-haul models. Two years later, the T received the International Truck of the Year award from a jury of transportation industry journalists. They also have an option for Optivision+, an intelligent cruise control and gear-shifting technology designed to save fuel.

The primary difference between T and T High trucks is their cabs. T Range models typically have an engine tunnel in the middle of the cab, while T High variants boast a completely flat floor and a higher, 2-metre (6.6-foot) ceiling for a roomier cab environment. T Highs also include premium features such as an electric refrigerator, a swivelling passenger seat, and more storage.
