Montracon Adds New Four-Axle MT70 Trailer To MT Machinery Carrier Range
Montracon recently added a new model to its MT machinery carrier trailer range: the MT70. The new trailer joins the MT39, MT45, MT45 A3, and MT45 L3 in the MT family; Montracon says its design is largely based on customer feedback, with engineers focused on building a proper follow-up to the MT45, which launched in 2017. The MT70 is available in A4 and L4 variants, and Montracon recommends contacting the company directly for further details on those trailers.
“Due to high demand for the MT45 three-axle trailer, [Montracon] is now adding the MT70 to its machinery carrier range,” says Jeff Wright, Montracon national account manager, special products. “Due to the successful modular approach of the MT45, the same ethos has been adopted within the MT70 product.”
Standout Features
The four-axle MT70 supports a maximum gross trailer weight of 70 tonnes and has two rear-steer axles. It features a 1,450-millimetre air neck ramp for quicker decoupling, dual hydraulic ramps measuring 4,000 by 1,000 mm, a Warrior EN 6000-certified electric winch, strobe and work lights, and several outrigger timbers.
