DAF Trucks UK recently opened a new £20 million headquarters in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. The three-story facility sits on 1.8 hectares (4.5 acres) with4,645 square metres (50,000 square feet) of office space, four workshop bays for training purposes, and an auditorium. Several high-profile officials were on-hand to celebrate the opening, including Mark Pigott, KBE, executive chairman of the board of director of PACCAR, and Simon Smits, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Kingdom.
The new headquarters will help guide DAF’s 136 dealers across the UK and Ireland. Robin Easton, managing director of DAF Trucks, calls it “a demonstration of the commitment to further strengthen DAF’s leading position in the UK market.” The company will also use the facility to continue to offer marketing, ongoing support, and financing for its CF, LF, and XF lines of trucks.
“DAF has been the UK market leader for 23 consecutive years”, says Easton. “With this excellent facility, its dedicated staff and our tremendous truck manufacturing facility in Leyland, I am confident we will further expand this strong position in the United Kingdom.”
The listings on this site include a wide range of used DAF trucks for sale, including a number of nearly new DAF CF, LF, and XF trucks.
