The first customer to order a new Volvo FH 25-Year Special Edition cabover has taken delivery, and it’s a stunner. John Adams of Adams Transport of Armoy, Co. Antrim, in Northern Ireland bought the Mammoth Tree Metallic beauty from Dennison Commercials Ltd. of Ballyclare.

Adams specialises in agricultural and general haulage. He dedicated the luxurious new tractor unit to his late wife, Gillian Marie, who passed away in 2015. The 25th anniversary of the couple’s wedding will take place in 2019.

Special Inside & Out

This special edition marks the 25th year of Volvo’s million-selling FH line. It’s also available in Crimson Pearl, as well as in an FH16 version.

Adams’s unit is a 6x2 pusher axle tractor with a 540-horsepower Volvo D13K motor and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels. Sitting atop its front air suspension is a Globetrotter XL Cab with a 25-Year interior. Orange highlights combine with seats of quilt and leather for both style and comfort.
