HOYER Petrolog will add 26 new Scania P450 models to its fleet of more than 500 trucks, 10% of which are Scania vehicles, with plans for further expansion not long after. The company chose P-series models to take advantage of safety features, such as Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), as well as to support its sustainability initiatives through monitoring carbon dioxide emissions, fuel consumption, and more.

“We are pleased to announce the arrival of new additions to our Scania fleet,” says Allan Davison, operations director of HOYER Petrolog in the United Kingdom. “Scania have always offered an exceptionally reliable vehicle whilst also bringing the environmental benefits of returning excellent fuel economy and, importantly, this vehicle is always a popular choice with our driver workforce. As well as being vastly experienced in this sector, we value Scania’s excellent maintenance network and the shared values between the two organisations make this a deal we are very comfortable with.”

    Multiple P-Series Options

Scania’s P-series trucks are available with several different cab configurations, like the P-Short-Low day cab, P-Sleeper-Highline, and P-Crewcab. Engine options range from a 250-horespower engine that produces 1,250 newton-metres of torque up to a 450-horespower engine that offers 2,350 newton-metres of torque. You can also choose between 8-speed and 12-speed manual transmissions and a fully automatic gearbox.

HOYER will back up its new Scania P450 models with 5-year Fixed Price Maintenance packages and will maintain all of its trailers at Scania workshops.
