Zest4.TV Buys 7.2-Tonne IVECO Daily Chassis Cab To Support Live Broadcast Operations
Zest4.TV, which offers camera, audio, and editing services for live events and broadcasts throughout the United Kingdom, recently purchased a new 7.2-tonne IVECO Daily chassis cab with an 8-speed Hi-Matic automatic transmission that offers smoother gear-shifting and repair and maintenance costs that are up to 10% lower compared to a standard manual transmission, according to IVECO. The truck also has a 3.0-litre Euro 6 engine that produces 205 horsepower and 470 newton-metres of torque, cruise control, an air-suspended driver’s seat, and a remounted body with sections for engineering, production, and sound.
IVECO Daily Fits The Bill
“We needed to replace a 20-year-old vehicle which was going to prove too expensive to bring into the new Ultra-Low Emission Zone in London. We don’t do a huge annual mileage, but reliability and payload are the critical factors for us,” said Simon Roe, marketing director for Zest4.TV. “We explored all available options, but only IVECO could supply a vehicle that fitted the bill perfectly. I didn’t need to drive the Daily for long before my mind was made up. It’s so easy to drive and the Hi-Matic gearbox is incredible; it will make a huge difference to driver comfort on our longer journeys.”

IVECO Daily Euro 6 models are available in more than 8,000 variations, including as either vans or chassis cabs. They range in load capacity from 3.3 to 7.2 tonnes and in cargo volume from 7.3 to 19.6 cubic metres. They also have engine options ranging from 136 horsepower and 350 newton-metres to 205 horsepower and 470 newton-metres of torque like the one Zest4.TV purchased. Zest4.TV’s Daily is also backed by a three-year repair and maintenance package.
