Trucklocator Joins Road Haulage Association (RHA)

Trucklocator Weekly Magazine - Unique in the UK

At Trucklocator we understand the importance of trucks to the UK economy – about 90% of all of the UK’s freight is transported by the workhorses of the roads.

With these times of political and economic upheaval, it is important that truck operators have a voice and that this voice is heard. This is where the RHA plays a significant role. In addition to helping operators with compliance and legal matters, the organisation actively campaigns government to support the road transport industry.

    The RHA

The RHA has over 7000 fleet members who run approximately 250,000 trucks on the roads of the UK and Internationally. It is a very diverse Association ranging from a single owner operator to the multinationals who are household names, along with 9 Specialist Groups.

The organisation also has over 300 Associate Members including manufacturers of heavy goods, tyre manufacturers, van manufacturers, telematics providers, government agencies, finance houses, service providers and media houses amongst the many connected businesses of the haulage and logistics sector.

    Industry Support

It is for all of these reasons that Trucklocator is supporting the organisation by joining as an ‘Associate Member’. Associate membership is designed for companies in the transport industry, but those who do not operate trucks or trailers. It is a way for the Trucklocator team to demonstrate our commitment to the UK road transport industry in which we have been actively involved for more than twenty years.
