David Joyce Named Director Customer Service & Parts For Mercedes-Benz Trucks
Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK recently announced that David Joyce would be the new Director Customer Service & Parts. Joyce is no stranger to the truck world or Mercedes-Benz. He previously served as the After Sales Director for Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles UK, among other positions within the company. David started his career in trucks as an apprentice technician in the late 1970s and also worked in Formula One with Team Lotus before coming to Mercedes-Benz UK in 1995 where he started in the Technical Training department.
Maximised Use
David’s experience in all aspects of customer service, parts and training will be put to use in his new role, where he will oversee all Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK service and parts activities, including training and the workshop at the Wentworth Park Truck Experience centre. He will also work to further the company’s maximised use strategies to reduce downtime for customers. “Product availability is absolutely crucial for operators,” says David. “What matters to our customers, above all else, is that their vehicles are always available when they need them.”
