Isuzu Truck UK recently announced that S&D Harper, a Calor Gas dealer in Northeast Scotland, purchased its first Isuzu 7.5-tonne rigid truck for weekly deliveries of gas products to its home and business customers. S&D expects the truck to have a five-year working life, during which it will cover around 25,000 miles each year. Isuzu reports that the company runs routes “from Inverness to Turriff and inland as far as Grantown on Spey.”

    About The N75.190

The Isuzu N75.190 is a short-wheelbase chassis cab with a 14-foot dropside body and rear-mounted tail lift. The truck has a 4HK1E6C-D Isuzu turbo intercooled OHC four-cylinder diesel with DPD and SCR for Euro VI emissions standards compliance. The hexapod design cab has a manual tilt to 45 degrees, flame-resistant interior trim, and a fully adjustable suspension seat with head restraint for the driver. Features such as lane departure warning systems, an Advanced Emergency Braking System, and large mirrors that are both heated and foldable increase safety.

    Maximum Payload

“We operate three vehicles covering Calor Gas deliveries and previously we have always used local company Elgin Truck & Van for all our service work for these vehicles. With their recent appointment as an Isuzu Truck service dealer, we were interested to see how the Isuzu 7.5 tonner would work within our fleet as we are always looking for maximum payload, which is something that has long been associated with the Isuzu brand,” says S&D Harper Director Stuart Harper.

You’ll find a large selection of new and used Isuzu trucks, including a number of N75.190 models, for sale on TruckLocator every day.
