MAN Trucks recently announced updates to its TGE Vans 2021 range in the form of four new radios and infotainment systems. The new systems provide music entertainment options and relevant journey information, while a new ceiling-mounted three-button module gives drivers access to services and assistance in the case of an emergency or breakdown, as well as information and technical details about the vehicle. With the push of a button, the driver can make an emergency call without a phone, request breakdown service, or clarify vehicle-related questions. In the event of airbag deployment, the system will automatically place an emergency call.

    About The Infotainment Systems

The 2021 range offers four options, MAN Radio Van, MAN Media Van, MAN Media Van Business, and MAN Media Van Business Navigation, giving customers the flexibility to choose the system that best fits their needs.

The entry-level option, MAN Radio Van, offers an enhanced radio with SD card slot and a structured arrangement of push-buttons and functions.

The MAN Media Van has a 6.5-inch TFT colour touchscreen display with DAB+ options and MAN SmartLink to connect a smartphone via cable for music streaming. It also includes the ceiling-mounted three-button module.

The MAN Media Van Business has an 8-inch TFT colour touchscreen display with DAB+, the three-button module, wireless MAN SmartLink to connect a smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It also offers online services such as weather updates and current news without the live traffic function.

The MAN Media Van Business Navigation is the all-inclusive option with an 8-inch TFT colour touchscreen display with DAB+, the three-button module, and wireless MAN SmartLink to connect a smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. In addition to online services such as weather updates and current news, it includes a two-year licence for navigation with live traffic data and regular map updates. Contract extensions are available.
