IVECO is reassuring customers that its entire dealer and workshop network will be available to keep their trucks on the road and ensure the transport industry rolls on during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company says it is following all health and safety guidelines from the Ministry of Health, including cleaning more extensively, having technicians work in smaller teams, and encouraging the use of disposable gloves, masks, and vests. Technicians are also disinfecting each vehicle prior to servicing. The goal is to create a safe working environment, while also working to “guarantee the necessary supply of goods,” IVECO explains.
Other Measures
IVECO is asking customers to request appointments for non-emergency issues, which will be scheduled “as soon as possible” via the company’s Assistance Non Stop Service. Technicians are also trying to perform as many remote diagnostics and repairs as it can, specifically with New Daily and S-Way models, to reduce contact. In this unprecedented situation, IVECO wants to do everything possible to help the heroes who at this difficult time drive thousands of kilometers to maintain the food and sanitary supply chain operating efficiently,” the company says. “Because only together, we are unstoppable.”
