Firestone Announces Vanhawk Multiseason, Company’s First All-Season Tyre For European Light Trucks

Firestone will release its first ever all-season tyre for light trucks in the European market in October in 19 sizes between 15 and 16 inches and with three high load sizes included. The new Vanhawk Multiseason will cover 84% of the market and is suitable for most light trucks and loads, says Firestone, which developed the winter-ready tyre in Europe, optimising it for fuel efficiency.

For Fleet Operators & Van Drivers

Firestone bills the Vanhawk Multiseason as the ideal option for small- and medium-sized fleet operations and private van drivers seeking maximised business efficiency. The tyre underwent extensive simulated testing and in-field validations, and has earned 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) and Mud + Snow (M + S) markings, plus a European Union label B-grade in wet grip and EU label C-grade in most sizes, Firestone says.

The tyre features a compound design, symmetric pattern with longitudinal grooves to enhance water removal, and optimised edges and sipes. Firestone used a nano-selective compound mixing technology to enable enhanced wet and snow performance, and applied better silica dispersion in the Bridgestone Nano Pro-tech compound technology that forms the tyre.
