DAF Trucks Wishes To Re-Energise Industry’s Community Spirit At Commercial Motor Show

DAF Trucks is ready to meet with operators, manufacturers, and industry experts at this year’s Commercial Motor Show, and the firm is embracing the new virtual exhibition format. “Naturally, we were dismayed with the cancellation of many exhibitions and events this year, and the industry has undoubtedly felt the impact in recent months,” says DAF Trucks Managing Director Laurence Drake. “Here, however, is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect and to re-energise the industry’s community spirit—something that has always been evident at regular shows. I urge everyone; operators, manufacturers and industry bodies to register and to attend the show, and to engage with each other once again.”

    DAF’s Virtual Stand

Representation at the free-to-attend virtual show will include members of DAF Trucks’ head office in Haddenham who can discuss the company’s extensive truck range, including the new FAW 8x4 rear-steer tridem chassis. “The key for any truck manufacturer is the strength of its relationships with its customers and dealers,” says Drake. “The Commercial Motor Show provides a chance for us to thank our customers and to share in the positive performance by DAF during these exceptional times.”

DAF Trucks staff will also discuss industry-specific matters and broader societal issues, including London’s HGV Safety Permit scheme, HGV MOT Testing, Clean Air Zones, and Brexit in virtual breakout sessions happening throughout the three-day show.

    How To Register

Running from 29 September to 1 October, the virtual exhibition features a full seminar programme with live sessions that are also available on demand. Register at the Commercial Motor Show website to gain access to the virtual event.
