John Dinham Transport Adds 10 New Montracon Postless Curtainsider Trailers
Bristol-based John Dinham Transport recently added 10 new Montracon curtainside trailers to its fleet, all of which are EN12642XL-compliant. The Postless Curtainsiders feature low-maintenance bolt-on bodies with galvanized frames in front and rear, phenolic-coated plywood floors, and curtains with heavy-duty buckles. Montracon offers straight-frame, single-deck trailers as well as double-deck configurations.
Heavily Customisable
A hallmark of Montracon’s curtainside trailers is their customisability, with various axle, rear-door, load restraint, coupling, length, and deck options. For example, customers can opt for a barn, flush, or roller shutter rear door; choose between straps, nets, kites, and retractable straps for securing loads; or add one of several “fuel saver” features, including vortex generators, side skirts, or a bulkhead air diffuser. The double-decker variation also features wraparound curtains that Montracon says are “ideally suited for pallet hub operations” and provide “a full clear side aperture.”
