PJ Webb Haulage Limited, an aggregate transport specialist based in Tonyrefail, Wales, recently added four new Renault trucks to its fleet, bringing its Renault trucks total to 31. The order included two C460 8x4 tipper trucks, one C430 8x4 mixer truck, and one T480 6x2 tractor unit. The twin C460s feature insulated tipper bodies from Smoothline, beacon bars, strobes in the front and rear, and FORS camera systems.

The C430 has an 8-metre McPhee mixer, an Optidriver automated transmission, strobes, and Optifleet Check. The last addition, the T480 6x2 pusher axle tractor unit, has an Optidriver AT 2612F transmission with an automatic clutch, a four-point cab air suspension, a heated seat, a 24-litre refrigerator, and air conditioning. Both the C430 and T480 feature Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels and camera and radar systems.

    PJ Webb Hasn’t Looked Back

“We’ve not looked back since we bought our first Renault truck in 2012,” says Phillip Webb, managing director of PJ Webb. “Aggregates is a tough business and Renault Trucks construction vehicles are known for their ruggedness and durability. There is also plenty of room in the cabs, they are comfortable, the equipment is great and, notably, we’ve not had one complaint from the drivers! All this, combined with the fantastic service, means we really can’t ask for anymore.”
