Based in Newquay, Fourwinds Garage added its first Isuzu truck in 2018, and the reliability of the trucks for recovery duties has led the firm to add a new one each year. The latest addition is an N75.190 crew cab chassis fitted with an aluminum-side bed body. Fourwinds Garage’ Isuzu recovery trucks include a wide range of chassis, including twin-deck bodies, powerlifts, and day cab slide beds, as well as the latest crew cab slide bed.

“Not only are they a good, reliable truck for us as a business, but all the drivers also really enjoy driving them,” says Fourwinds Garage Director Dave Henwood. “With Isuzu, the whole package we get is first-class and matches our requirements.”

    Ready For Emergency Response

Fourwinds Garage specialises in recovery and roadside repairs as well as a wide range of car services from MOTs and engine diagnostics to van repairs and servicing. The recovery trucks in the Fourwinds Garage fleet operate seven days a week, and over their planned 10-year working life, each vehicle is expected cover 500,000 miles (805,000 kilometres), so reliability is a must. The fleet of recovery trucks also work closely with the AA, Green Flag, and Britannia Rescue. “Over the past 2 years, none of the Isuzus have ever let us down,” Henwood says.
