Italian truck manufacturer IVECO just announced that Greenford-based 1st Choice Tool & Plant Hire has replaced its entire fleet with a dozen new IVECO Daily light commercial panel vans and Daily chassis cabs.

    The Complete Package

According to Rob Cox, managing director at 1st Choice, IVECO’s vehicles were rugged enough to handle the rental company’s day-to-day operations, and the after-sale maintenance support was simply unmatched. The company’s fleet now consists of two 3.5-tonne Daily panel vans and 10 Daily chassis cabs with capacities between 3.5 and 7.2 tonnes. Some of the Daily chassis cabs come equipped with dropside bodies and mesh tail-lifts, while others come with Shawtrack plant bodies. The panel vans have 10.8 cubic metres of cargo volume, ensuring the company can get equipment where it needs to be faster and more efficiently.

Built To Suit & Fully Backed

These vehicles will be pushed to their limits helping the company deliver construction equipment, tools, diggers, dumpers, and excavators to locations throughout London and South England. The company also credits the IVECO Retail dealer for the time and effort it put into getting to know 1st Choice Tool & Plant Hire’s business operations and day-to-day requirements.

The vans and smaller chassis cabs all feature 2.3-litre diesel engines capable of generating 136 horsepower. The 7.2-tonne Daily chassis cabs run 3.0-litre engines that generate 180 horsepower. Another feature that makes the larger vehicles so popular is their truck-like solid steel load-bearing chassis and QUAD-TOR front suspension. IVECO backs 1st Choice Tool & Plant Hire’s new fleet with a five-year IVECO Elements repair and maintenance contract.

You’ll find hundreds of used IVECO trucks for sale every day on TruckLocator, including chassis cabs, panel vans, and a big selection of IVECO Daily models.
