Welsh Arboriculture Company Man Coed VM Ltd Adds Five Isuzu Grafter N35.125 Tipper Trucks To Its Fleet
Man Coed VM Ltd, a Welsh arboriculture specialist that also offers overhead power line engineering, grounds maintenance, and facilities management services, recently added five Isuzu Grafter N35.125 trucks to its 31-vehicle fleet. The Sandycroft, Flintshire, firm decided to purchase these specific models after receiving “glowing recommendations” from a subcontractor in the area, according to Isuzu. Supplied by Warrington Vehicle Centre, each of the 4x2 trucks features Brit Tip tipper bodywork and cab-mounted toolchests. The Grafters will be coupled with chipper trailers and accrue roughly 15,000 miles (24,100 kilometres) per year operating in Deeside and North Wales.

“About 18 months ago, one of our subcontractors showed us around his latest Isuzu Grafter truck and we were really impressed by both the build quality and its overall performance,” says Tony Jones, finance director for Man Coed. “As we had five existing Ford Transit rigids coming to the end of their working life, we decided to contact Warrington Vehicle Centre who provided a demonstration Grafter for evaluation. The rest is history and we now have five new Isuzu Grafters on the road and working really well for us.”

The Isuzu Grafter N35.125 is a 4x2 rigid chassis cab with a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kilograms (7,716 pounds) and a maximum trailer weight of 3,500 kilograms as well. All of the models in the range feature Isuzu RZ4E turbo intercooled DOHC four-cylinder diesel engines with lean NOx (nitrogen oxide) traps and manual transmissions.
