Balgores Motors, an East Anglia-based accident repair group with locations all across Essex and Suffolk, recently added eight new Isuzu 7.5-tonne day cab trucks to its fleet. Balgores Motors plans to keep them in operation for three years as part of a fleet that transports more than 250 cars per week. Each of the Isuzu N75.190 trucks is configured as a car transporter with various Recovery World bodies, including low sliders, slide beds, and twin decks. According to Isuzu, the slide bed models are ideal for “small cars to large SUVs,” the low sliders are a fit for “high-performance cars with low ground clearance,” and the twin decks can haul two large cars at once, ranging from “small and large family cars to sports performance cars.”

Coming Back To Isuzu After Eight Years

“We have returned to specifying Isuzu as our main vehicle of choice as the intensive nature of our vehicle distribution programme is based on having reliable trucks with proven efficient after sales support. Without doubt, Isuzu ticks all these boxes,” says Chris Everitt, transport and logistics manager at Balgores Motors. “Flexibility of operation and vehicle reliability are our main priorities when transporting this number of cars every week and we believe that the combination of the Isuzu chassis with the Recovery World bodies provides us with the optimum choice of delivery vehicles.”

    Isuzu N75.190 Details

The Isuzu N75.190 is a 4x2 rigid chassis with twin rear wheels. Each model comes standard with a 4HK1E6C-D four-cylinder Euro VI engine that produces up to 140 kilowatts (188 horsepower) and Isuzu offers options for a six-speed manual synchromesh manual transmission or an Easyshift six-speed automated transmission. It also has a gross vehicle weight of 7,500 kilograms (16,535 pounds) and a maximum trailer weight of 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs).

In addition to the base chassis cab model that is ideal for third-party outfitting, Isuzu sells the N75.190 preconfigured with box column, box tuckaway, curtainsider, drop-side, or tipper bodies. Preconfigured models come standard with day cabs, but there is also an option for a crew cab that has enough space for up to six passengers.

You’ll find a big selection of new and used Isuzu trucks for sale every day on TruckLocator, including dozens of N75.190s.
