Renault Trucks recently relaunched its #ProudProfessionals campaign intended to highlight the many highly trained workers who keep the trucking industry rolling. Renault introduced the original campaign in 2017, and while the relaunch has the same goal, it incorporates a new logo meant to invoke a 6x2 truck, a new tagline (“We Keep the Nation Running”), and a social media campaign to promote it nationally.
There is also a redesigned website at proudprofessionals.co.uk that features a gallery full of “ProudProfessionals Champions,” who Renault says are real people with real stories. The company will also present awards to some of those Champions over the course of the year.
Celebrating A Vital Industry
“Current circumstances demonstrate just how vital the transport industry is to our country,” says Alex Williams, head of brand and communications for Renault Trucks UK & Ireland. “Virtually everything we eat, the products and medicines we use, are safely delivered by a truck or van that is operated, driven and maintained by ProudProfessionals. Our hashtag is already well known, and while #ProudProfessionals has never been more relevant, we’ve always been in this for the long term; our reinvigorated campaign is the next step in helping to celebrate the great people who make up this great industry.”
