Carrier Landscapes, a landscaping specialist based in Melton Mowbray, recently added a new Isuzu Grafter Green N35.125 with dropside body to its fleet, the 1,000th Driveaway truck produced by the marque. Carrier Landscapes operates a fleet of 80 vehicles, 45 of which are now Isuzu models. Most are 3.5-tonne Grafters, but the company owns four 7.5-tonners as well.

    "This Ticks All The Boxes"

“It is fair to say that all our Isuzus have been largely trouble-free, which is why they are the largest single manufacturer represented in our fleet,” says Duncan Carrier, MD of Carrier Landscapes. “We have found that they are robust and reliable with an excellent payload. This ticks all the boxes for us.”

The landscaping service provider plans to keep its pre-bodied Isuzu in operation for at least six years. Its drivers work in two-man teams, serving customers across the East Midlands.

Milestone Vehicle For A Longtime Customer

“It is fitting that such a devotee of the Isuzu brand, Carrier Landscapes, are the recipients of this special milestone vehicle as they have been a long-term supporter of Isuzu for many years,” says Richard Waterworth, head of sales for Isuzu Truck UK. “Our Driveaway programme has proved to be incredibly popular with our customers and by consistently adding new models to the range, we now have a comprehensive selection of the most sought-after vehicle specifications in various GVW categories. This enables our customers to reduce the lead time and costs for fleet replacements and additions.”
