Rogers Transport Chooses IVECO Stralis XP Truck For Fuel-Saving Features
Rogers Transport, a specialized transport company based in Tadley, recently added a new IVECO Stralis XP tractor unit to mixed fleet of 15 vehicles, around half of which are IVECO models. The 6x2 mid-lift truck, complete with a Hi-Way sleeper cab, features a Cursor 13 engine that produces 510 horsepower and 2,300 newton metres of torque and a 12-speed HI-TRONIX automated transmission. It also takes advantage of the HI-CRUISE integrated drive system, which uses predictive cruise control and gear shifting to improve fuel efficiency. Hendy Truck & Van in Eastleigh supplied the truck.
Fuel Efficiency Is Key

Rogers Transport’s IVECO Stralis XP is covered by an eight-year repair and maintenance plan with an uptime guarantee stations that states, “in the unlikely event of a breakdown, an IVECO Truck Station will guarantee to have the vehicle back on the road within 24 hours of it arriving in the workshop.” With this package backing it up, Rogers plans to operate the truck until 2027, and possibly beyond that, while putting on between 80,000 and 100,000 kilometres per year. The company will also get a weekly TCO2 Smart Report that provides data about driver and vehicle performance as well as fuel consumption.
