IVECO Helping Communities Across Europe Get Through The COVID-19 Pandemic

IVECO is working to help the communities it serves, and not just by keeping workshops open and offering telediagnostics and repairs for S-WAY models. In Spain, for example, IVECO delivered more than 400 3D-printed face masks to frontline workers and donated personal protection equipment (PPE) in Madrid and Castilla y León.

The company also lent five Daily vehicles to the Red Cross and three vehicles to Soccorso dell'Ordine di San Giovanni in Italia, three vehicles to RED CROSS ROMANIA and one to the Galati Community Group in Romania, and a new Daily ambulance to the Helsinki University Hospital in Finland. Two of the RED CROSS ROMANIA vehicles are CNG-powered, with free fuel provided by ENGIE Romania.

    Community Support Is Crucial

“The IVECO Brand is conscious of its social responsibility as one of the world’s largest producers of trucks and buses,” says Thomas Hilse, IVECO brand president. “Our vehicles enable the transportation of critical goods and help protect local communities across our planet, as well as supporting global food production and the construction of vital infrastructure. We will remain at the side of our communities to support them: because only together, we are unstoppable.”
