Leeds-Based Coach Hire Company’s Fleet Grows By One Scania Interlink HD Bus

J&B Travel, a coach hire business based in Leeds, recently added a new Scania bus to its fleet. It’s an Interlink HD body on a K 410 EB 4x2 chassis with an independent front suspension, and it meets Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) thanks to a wheelchair lift and other features. Equipped with 53 half-leather seats with three-point seatbelts, the bus also comes with a toilet, a hot drinks dispenser, a DVD player with two monitors, climate controls, a reversing camera, and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.

Meeting J&B’s Needs

“We were looking for a new executive coach that was PSVAR-compliant. After looking at the Scania Interlink initially, we found that the vehicle represents excellent value for money,” says Paul Lynn, owner of J&B Travel. “The new seat tracking system in the vehicle is amazing – we can accommodate a wheelchair user without having to remove two pairs of seats from the vehicle. I'd also add that we have really enjoyed working with our account manager Richard Austin, who as an ex-coach operator himself understands the industry and our needs very well.”
